“EZBB FACES” is probably my favorite project to date. It’s a personal production that I started in the summer of 2023. Through a YouTube video series, I aim to showcase the diverse characters of the streetball community (EZBBASKETBALL) from Frankfurt.

Streetball has been a huge passion in my life and has always helped me connect with people who share the same love for the game. Especially when moving to a new city or visiting places in other countries, the basketball court was always the easiest place to make new friends. What fascinates me about streetball is how it brings together people from all walks of life. No matter your age, gender, or background, everyone is welcome on the court.

Through EZBB FACES, I want to bring the ballers of Frankfurt’s streetball community closer together, giving individuals a platform to share their unique stories. Each portrait video focuses on the protagonist: who they are, their connection to basketball, and what their life is like outside the basketball world.

The first three episodes are already online. What makes me especially proud is that this is a 100% self-made production. From the concept and direction to filming and editing, it’s all been done by me in my free time. Even the graphics (logo and opener animation) are a product of my own work. For me, this project is pure passion.
